Man City Friendlies in St. Louis, MO and at Yankee Stadium

I'm 200 miles from New York and totally underwhelmed by these games..... I'm sure there will be some deal struck, Chelsea win in St Louis and City win in New York.....
Both will be as competitive as a pre-pre-season game... with internationals next week no player involved in them will be busting a gut (and I don't blame them).
It certainly didn't entice me to give up my 14 hour overtime shift on Saturday to travel to NY to watch the game....

I had the same reservations. I live in Dallas. I went to Chelsea v Club America ( MEX ) a few years back. It was the last game of the "Cup" and Chelsea left their main four off ( Drogba, Terry, Lampard, Cech ). Brought Essien in in the second half. The beginning of the tournament they played all their best players. I am hoping that both teams field quality in the first half at least. HOWEVER, if this is the only chance I have to see City play in my lifetime, you better believe I am taking the opportunity. I will relish sitting amongst other Blues and singing my ass off. I fly out in the morning and can not wait.

ESPN are showing St Louis game recorded from tonight at 7pm Friday and New York live from 11pm Sat

Have a great trip mate, I have said before that us mancs take city for granted.

Dont worry though about not seeing city that much, soon we'll be over the pond quite often :-)

I will there in St. Louis!!!!!!

Me too. Leaving early in the morning and driving to St. Louis. Staying very close to the stadium and wondering if there will be a pub with a load of City fans nearby.

It's arse not ass

Since phone numbers aren't allowed - and I certainly understand why - can someone post the location of any pre-match festivities in St. Louis?

ESPN are showing both games live in the UK, which is a relief as I didn't really trust ChelskiTV to automatically unscramble on sky without a subscription plus the commentary would be somewhat biased I presume.

By the way - took this pic tonight on my deck tonight.

Nice sky I must say.

Perhaps if you contact City they will re-arrange the game to be played on your day off and play it in your back garden. That is, if you can be arsed getting off the sofa.
With dedication like yours, we can't go wrong.
