Disgraceful, that's the kind of comments that will hold the women's game back, its still FOOTBALL and its still Man City. By the way that's the Under 16's team which were NATIONAL & BRITISH Champions last year. Oh and City have two under 19 england players, one on the fringes of the under 21's, one northern irish international, average team age of 21.

Bet you get annoyed if females make comments that Aguero (for example) is a 'bit fit'. Grow up.

Bloody hell calm down! It was only a joke. I cannot believe you have just accused me of holding the women's game back! I wish the girls who play for City the best of luck.

Back on topic, I do think that the ladies game is growing in this country and with the forward-thinking people at City now I'm sure the club will get behind the ladies team. I do feel a bit for the club though as they are on a hiding to nothing with things like this as they have so much money and are automatically seen as the bad guys if they don't throw a load of money at it.

Off topic now - I do think a major issue in ladies football is the size of the goals they use. The women goalkeepers are naturally smaller than the male goalkeepers and the amount of goals scored where the goalie is at fault is far too high. I expect people might find this sexist but it isn't, it would just make the game better in my opinion

I was thinking more that some of the girls could read this forum(you never know, they hardly get the wages or lifestyle of the men) so reading some of those comments wouldn't be nice.

That's all, besides it's different to say someone is fit to think they're not, one's a compliment and the other is quite rude, particularly to disect a group on a public forum, but that's just my opinion.
