Just because names have been banded about for weeks would not rule out the Club still believing that the signing of Tevez etc would still be classed as a surprise. Until we see the contract signed nothing is certain or unchangeable. And 3 weeks ago signing Tevez would have been a surprise if it had been announced then. But as he is not a free agent and others mentioned previously as transfer targets are in the same position, the signing cannot be announced unless the selling club agree. Sorry to spoil your fun but you should still enjoy the experience as a City fan even if it turns out to be a player we already have been linked with. Villa has again hinted that he could move to another club in Spain but ruled out a move to England - this year.

Cant believe we are saying we wont be surprised at signing the likes of Etoo, Tevez or Terry.

Surprise would be we are not signing any more players this transfer window:-) LOL

We'd be happy but not anymore 'surprised' because we already know about it.
