Anyone just see the band in city square? Pure posing rock god wannabes, trying to play the crowd, met with utter and total apathy. It was funny.

Fair play to the lead singer for having the balls. Not my cup of tea but they were tight and confident. Crowd shot on the screens after he's giving it 'let me hear you!' Was three Japanese tourists and half a dozen people stood, totally bemused.

Haha the struts I liked them better than the usual warbbling!

It must be a real incentive to him to know that whatever he does at this point, he's no chance of moving up in the pecking order.

so you would break up one of the most prolific partnerships in world footy to give someone a game who blows more cold than hot imo. soz but no manager or fan would want break up such a partnership in a top flight game just to someone else a run out. it has proved that edin and sergio are no match for negs and sergio

If he could break into a sweat in his next few opportunities that would get him a bit of credit with the fans.

You really do talk some utter shit!

Edin is a v good finisher and scorer but he hasn't struck up a fantastic partnership with Sergio.he has had his chances and I am sure he will get other chances, so it's all down to whether he wants it as much as the beast

lol no was saying why i wouldnt, but negs/sergio is fairly new, so hoping it goes from strength to strength

what's he playing at? Kun, Nasri and Fern should be at home with their slippers on.

I can only assume it's to do with money and co-efficient points. Get the job done, pocket the £1m win bonus (or whatever it is) and then sub them all off. Risky business though and like you I wouldn't have started any of the 3 players you mention

They can get injured in training.

In many ways, best form of practice is playing real games.

If we do get a decent lead built up, they should of course get early baths.
