If it wasn't for Aguero, his usual cool finishing but now coupled with even more intelligence and work rate than ever, then i'd be giving it to Mendy - his change in application and atttide is fantastic and he is looking more and more like the player we thought we were getting, fast, direct and in tune with the team.

But Aguero... he could still be playing for us in 5 years time and be just as deadly. Rightly getting all kinds of plaudits today from the footballing world. If he wanst to stay and try to break Shearer's record then that would be immense. Can't stop him from going if he has his heart set, he's earned it with us, but a couple extra years in Manchester and he might just grab the all time PL scorer record too.

Noted too how happy the team came across in general, everyone celebrated, everyone showed for the ball and everyone wanted to win form the first minute.

Re: Mendy. Well said.

I honestly don’t know where to start. MOTM performances all over the team.

It’s hard to go against anyone that scores a hat trick but I am choosing Kev. The way he drives this team forward and his eye for the killer pass is truly amazing.
Aye. That was what I thought and the pass to Jesus was sublime.
