Kompers was good, Sergio was good and would have scored had Oliver applied the fuckin' Laws of the Game properly, and Ferny scored the goal that counted, and Navas, and Sergio again and Yaya got the pens, but it was Willy what won it!!

I feel Silva is deserving of some praise after Sunday as well. Tbh where I was sat it was hard to get a proper view of the game. I'm used to being high up and getting a great picture of the whole pitch but at Wembley I was low down by the corner flag. It was only when watching the game back on to did I notice just how good his passing was. Had Aguero had his shooting boots on he'd have had three assists - all pin point balls through. He battled hard and won balls in the air he had no right to.

Good shouts for Willy, Vincent, Serg and Merlin and Fern

But for me, and purely because of his previous less than glorious displays, I'm going for Fernando

I am going to make a prediction - FERNANDO -will score very soon. Have you noticed how many times he is 'in the midst of things' when we get a corner.
He has had a few headers within the 6 yard box.- of late. - and he made Mingy? make a good save late in the game on Sunday.

Yaya for me. Set the tone for the day. He drove us forward and Liverpool didn't like it one bit.

There's a few players deserving of an honorable mention but Sunday was without doubt Willy Caballero's day. He won us the shootout, he won us the cup and he showed tremendous character after what must have been a very difficult week. I'll let him have this one.

Got to give it to Willy for his penalty heroics and he will be the one player remembered most for that game in years to come.

Yaya was fantastic and probably edged it because he played the full game but I thought Fernando was absolutely top drawer, he broke up their play superbly and distributed it well - the best game he's had for us by far and what a day to produce it.
