Fern had a good game, won a lot of duels. Still don’t like to see him there but he’s doing a great job filling in. Kev was inspiring going forward but gave the ball away too many times. Overall not many candidates but we got a very difficult game out of the way with a win. On the down side when did we last have a proper left back? Pearce, Power..... ? And What did we ever see in Mendy?

Hard to pick between dinho stones and kdb. Simply because I can’t justify picking one cb over the other who were both exceptional despite being regularly exposed by our midfield I’ve gone with kdb as he was the only one of our attacking players today who looked a genuinely threat on the ball, everybody else seemed to just be going through the motions keeping the ball waiting for somebody else to make something happen, Kev first half particularly was the only one driving with the ball and our only threat. Tired second half because he had run himself into the ground trying to be the difference maker and probably would have been replaced for fresh legs if it wasn’t for the injuries which wasn’t his fault. goal was a complete fluke mind

Hard one as nobody was colossal. Even harder when you think between Mahrez, KDB, Stones.. I gave it to Mahrez though, cored a winning goal and started few decent opportunities.
