I know GunDog was superb, but Cancelo is quietly becoming world class, he gets better every game.

He's proved me wrong for sure.

All very good, Rodri was the only one I was having a moan at first half (just for you toffee bollocks and Bring Back Swales) for giving the ball away but went for Gundo who ran his nuts off, showed composure and was just quality, though Foden, Bernardo, Cancelo and the rest of the midfield/defence similar - great to watch a game and be spoilt for choice, like a throwback to a couple of seasons ago. Well played lads.

What a performance! I think this one merits full team match ratings. Missing Ederson, Walker, Ake, Laporte, García, Ferrán, Jesus. Was expecting the worst, so happy with the performance.

Steffen, 6 - Don't remember him having a save to make before the goal, impressed me with his composure and short passing but a schoolboy error early on from the backpass could have cost us.
Cancelo, 7 - Excellent going forward, should have had an assist. Caught out a little for the goal. Solid 7.
Dias, 8 - SOLID. Standard Dias performance.
Stones, 8 - SOLID 2. Standard Stones performance.
Zinchenko, 6.5 - Not bad, kept the ball well. A bit slow tracking back for the goal, didn't really create a lot or have too much to do defensively but generally a solid performance.
Rodri, 7 - Good performance, largely unseen. Made a couple of sloppy passes, but generally kept/won the ball well. That's his job.
Gündogan, 9 - World class performance, a player in superb form. Wonderful goal, excellent passing, a lot of energy. Should have had a second but still a close motm performance.
de Bruyne, 9 - My MoTM. Absolutely ran the show, should have scored more, could have had more assists but was a constant threat going forward. Tight call between him, Gundo and Foden.
Foden, 8.5 - Another top, top performance. Another goal, another assist. This kid is mustard.
Bernardo, 8 - ENGINE, feels like old Bernardo was back for this one. Some excellent passing too.
Sterling, 8 - Quick, ran his socks off and was a good outlet. Should have had a goal but was a massive part of out attacking threat today.

Fernandinho, 6 - Had little to do, did well.
