Gotta say i felt a bit for the lad as his first few touches went astray and the match was passing him by. Rallied well though and got a bit more into it.I thought Tommy was our best player in the first 15-20 minutes.

Yeah, good point.Absolutely, but Pep needs his fullbacks to be able to either cover midfield, tucked in or to overlap. THB can’t do either. Doyle would have been a better bet.
Maybe Pep had seen that they hit the longer balls to that side and played THB to try and win the aerial duals.

Pep picks the players and the positions to suit the game, not to suit the players or out of spite.Agree , Bellis should have been the player in his natural centre back position he is the future of the club , Garcia is leaving let him struggle at right back , we owe him nothing. Pep is a truly great manager but some of his decisions regarding Garcia are baffling.
