Good second half performances from everyone - Thought Zinchenko was brilliant - summed up by covering across to 6 yard box to cover Saha. Stones didn't put a foot wrong, Ruben did a couple if times but got away with it. Cancello was just steady this time - but that was what was needed. Gundogan and Rhodri did what they do in the middle but Ilkay coming up with two goals was about having the insight and courage to go looking for opportunities. Sterling struggled at times in the first half but got the penalty and then running at them the same way opened up the first goal - but in the end Foden, struggling as a false 9 but he kept at it, created the first goal and then when shifted to the right took the game away from Liverpool as they were terrified of him.

A number of candidates. Phil of course but Gundagon, Cancelo, Zinchenko, and Bernie had very good games. I voted for Phil but Bernardo came close. Gundagon showed absolute class and resolve after his terrible penalty miss. Great performance from him in the end.
