In my considered opinion, and now that some of my rage has subsided, every single player out there on that pitch was poor. Even Merlin, whom I will not normally hear a word said against, was utterly ineffective. I think that was why Pep was sitting looking so bemused. So, in these conditions, and as others have said, to choose a "man of the match" is just a travesty. It would make it look as though somebody had played well. Or just decently.
