I have to say that Cancelo has surprised me. He seems to have found his confidence & he was outstanding yesterday. I'm still not convinced that he is a good defender, but he has demonstrated that he's a good footballer. Well played, lad.

It shows the sort of levels Cancelo can achieve when he is played in his best position. He's a fantastic technical player who may end up being one of our cult heroes. If we can sign a proper left back (perhaps Alaba) then we really will be in business. Cancelo also links up well with his international teammate Bernardo. This new young team Pep is building is still a long way from its peak.
