I've just watched the highlights and Gundog did not get one single mention! But he was on 99 votes so I've gone along with the common herd!

That's exactly the reason Gundogan get's so much hate from our and other fanbases. He can dominate midfield like no-one else but only a small amount of people will notice. I replied much the same with Keira Walsh after the FArceWomen's Cup. Keeps everything ticking over, keeping the ball moving, probing, breaking up - yer don't notice it 'cos it doesn't clear the ball off the goal line or smash one into top corner. I went with Stones. After watching him try to play through a crisis of confidence and just losing the plot, it was heartening to see him play with assuredness and even a bit of aggression. Welcome back John!!

I thought Foden had a decent first half tbf. He had a poor second half though.Voted for Ake, but it was slim pickings tonight. Good first 20 mins, followed by an alarming drop off. Worst I’ve seen Foden play in particular. Great to have a proper forward come on and show the rest of them how it’s done
