Stones again.

Nice to see Bernardo so involved. Not everything came off for him and he should have hit that chance (right in the middle of goal) first time. But much better to see.

Gundogan was good again. A few dodgy passes but he has been good all season.

Stones and Dias are looking a proper partnership though. Stones had a perfect performance!

thought both cb did well when needed went for stones seems like a different player and looking like he could be the player everyone thought he be when signed think dias has helped him aswell

Bernardo gave us energy, work rate and pressing.

Thought Kev worked had and put some great balls into the box.

Think Torres deserve more playing time.

Walker, Dias, Stones, and Ederson were very good, Cancelo good apart from a few wobbles.

Sterling poor finishing apart from his goal.

Rodri and Gundogan. I just dont like this double pivot especially against poor teams like WBA.

Cancelo, strong in defence, like a winger going forwards, really impressed with how this guy has turned it round.

Bernie , loved to see him back

The defenders are great as well
Welcome back Bernardo! Responded perfectly to whichever role assigned and gave his very best throughout the 90'.

Pep's decision to move him centrally as a false 9 gave him the freedom to express himself, contributing significantly to the team's effort during 2nd half. Bernardo was everywhere, operating according to the specific needs of the action taking place in front of him. Constantly positioning himself so as to provide a passing option for his teammates and asking for the ball, keeping it and controlling the rhythm, running with it and creating space for others, setting up a teammate etc.

By nature, Bernardo is the kind of player that will never hide. His activity was crucial for the balances of the game in the 2nd half, relieving the team and providing numerical superiority in midfield...

Inexcusable for missing that chance, yes, but wasting clear opportunities has become one of City's permanent characteristics, he is not the only one to blame. So I prefer to focus on the positives of his performance, as the team needs him desperately...

Ilkay (again!), Kevin, and the whole back four also deserve honorable mentions.
