Gave Eddie some stick after the CL game. Was exceptional today. Composed on the ball and the defensive rock we needed. In combination with Bernardo he won us the game today. Walker was very good too. Couldn't believe Redknapp and Neville thought his handball was a penalty. Running at full speed, where else would his arm be but by his side?!

Any other day of the week and after that mesmerising display I should have had no other option than to offer it to Bernardo.
However the one bloke who more than any helped us achieve those three points was Eddie.
3 times from Son,one on ones and he still came out on top having had little to do.
Sorry Bern,it had to be done this time mate.

Gundogan had a very good game, Laporte was far better than Wednesday, Walker good, Foden good, Bernardo good, but looked very tired for the last 20 minutes. I thought Sterling looked tired all game, did some good stuff but far from his best game for me.
