Watched Sergio in awe last night. Constant thorn to West Ham, dropping off in the space and popping it off receiving the ball to feet in midfield before turning and taking the return. Did it time and time again, they dint know what to do with him. Couple of stray passes when he tired 2nd half - hardly unexpected. Thought he was outstanding.

He most certainly was. Not only can he defend, but he actually attacks and joins up. A very quick passer out. Just like his part in the winning goal against Liverpool.

If Pep has one fault, he judges some harsher than others.
Sané doesn’t shine he’s out for 3/4 games.
De Bruyne plays poorly and he’s undroppable.
Walker stunk the place out for a month. Danilo comes in and gets MOM, then has half a bad game and back to Walker.

It may well be because the player isn't playing to instruction, rather than just having a bad game. If it's the latter, then it seems Pep will allow players leeway to turn it around; if it's the former, you're off

An energetic Bernardo coming on , for a totally ineffective Mahrez, proved an absolute game changer.

Big up for Eddie as well, that save was also crucial
