As far as I could tell the chap at the front of the South Stand WASN'T wearing a United shirt - it looked like a red Ecko t-shirt to me but it may not have been.
He tried to get on the pitch and was told to stay in the stand, then as soon as the stewards took their eye off him he leapt the small fence and was halfway across the advertising before the stewards dragged him back - he then out muscled 3 or 4 of them before he was thrown to the floor behind the goal (as someone mentions, you can see this part if you watch the highlights of Cabayes late shot on goal).
A friend of his and me* then managed to calm him down a bit whilst stopping the stewards from heavy handling him again until the police came and marched him up the stairs with some stewards to chants of "You've had you day out".
Personally I thought the lad may have had issues as he didn't appear to be lucid, but that could have been due to personal issues, Bolivian mood enhancers or simple booze.
All in all, the stewards did nothing wrong and in fact could have been injured themselves.
*I don't know the chap and only got involved to try and calm him down and stop him getting himself in more bother with the stewards.
