What with the VAR cheating officials, covid and lack of supporters etc. this is the first game that I’ve looked forward to with full-on enthusiasm for quite a while.

I’m nervous about how it might go, of course, but it’s got the adrenaline pumping and I’m enjoying that wonderful feeling of pre-match nervous tension and delicious jangly anticipation that I used to get for almost every game.

C’mon you Blues!

Pep has to forgive him eventually , long out the confidence will drain, john backing off multiple games haunts me more than that
Why does he?

Stones took the place and hadn’t done anything to lose it. End of story.

Not aesed he has Mahrez in the startin 11, he has played well last few games, I do think we didn't need 2 pivot midfielders and he should have player berny alongside kev inho.

Thwir is also a good argument for foden to start ahead of sterling on the left, but understand why he has plumped for a more experienced player.

Opted to treat this like a european game which will be cagey and probqbly decided by one chance

Will be interesting to see Ferna & Rodri work together.
Shame about Sergio... lot resting on Jesus' shoulders this evening.

Hope we've brought our shooting boots, and it's not another one of those games where we create 20-something chances & miss them all. C'mon City !

They are playing a 442 diamond but it's really a 712. They will defend until Pogba can get the ball to Fernandes and hope he can counter with the 2 forwards.

I think Walker will be important.
