Yeah, can't really recall him ever playing particularly well in a derby tbh. Don't think he's ever scored against United in his entire career? Controversial I know, but not sure I'd start him on Saturday. Don't think he backs himself against Wan-Bissaka for some reason. Think Foden could cause him more problems coming in from the left.

That said, he is responsible for one of my favourite derby moments of recent time.

He tried to beat WB down the line once, got no joy and hasn't bothered since. The 'race' down the line suits WB more as he's very quick on the turn and can keep up. I'd say playing Sterling as a left winger would be a waste.
Saying that, WB was bobbins last night. Angelino - good lad- just sort of ambled towards him with the ball most of the time, and put his crosses over through the space WB left him.

I almost always put us down for a win but there are times that when it’s a matter of heart over head. . . and sometime’s the heads right.

It’s not disloyal to predict an unfavourable outcome and the poll is pretty damn meaningless if we all predict a win regardless of what we actually expect, like as if we’ve been assimilated by the City Borg ;-)

Three defeats out of four games last season is enough to give everyone pause for thought tbf. Plus the nagging suspicion that a manager who has twice deliberately fielded weakened teams against them still doesn’t understand the shite we went through for decades
