It's not a great post for it's too aggressive to non-Mancunian fans. City are now a global club, one of the biggest in the world, with supporters all over the world. The club can't be really big without non-Mancunian fans. It's important to beat Manure not just because they are a local club but also because they are big, and they are big because they have many many non-local fans.

Let's face it:

City owners are non-Mancunian, not even British

the club bosses are non-Mancunian, not even British

the manager is non-Mancunian, not even British

virtually all of the players are non-Mancunian, the vast majority not even British.

Local fans will always be very special and important to the club but it's not really necessary to dismiss the non-local fans like that.

Of course, some fans may prefer the time when City weren't that big and had few fans in other parts of the world. That's their free choice. They are free to hate non-Mancunian fans if they want to. I guess most City supporters are not like them though.
I think you’ll find it was directed at a couple of prominent individuals on here rather than all non-Mancs.

But now you’ve popped up, you can fcuk right off with your “ickle Citeh” insinuations.

I find anyone dismissing the relelvance or importance of a deby day, whether the result affecta us in league position or standing as a club or not as missing the actual point.

That stance was the very same bullshit them cunts came up with throughout the 90s while actively loving our derby defeats and being painfully hurt at their derby loses, all the while sniffing at us with some self entitlement.

Well even if they were in the evo stick league one, them cunts will always be hated and our rivals, I would never lower myself to act as they did sneering and dismissing us while openly showing how much they were bothered by us in a big fuck off banner and plenty of song still.

A derby day is always an important fixture not just another game, I want to hammer these wankers and send them home crying.
I get all that having lived through all the hurt, ridicule and humiliation and consequently this fixture will always be important. However, some derbies are more important than others these days. This game is more important than the last game in March because if we lose our chances of winning the league will be dealt a severe blow. Gone are the days when this fixture was our cup final it is now firmly and foremost about 3 points to secure for the fifth time in a decade the mantle of Champions. That said I'm off to see the Sick Swan and if I have time Denis Law's back heel.

We are heading into hostile territory today. The enemy has turned another corner. The great pogbad will be ready with the dip dabs and olie is still looking for the steering wheel.

Time to reflect on how far we have come blues. We have destroyed this despicable club and I have enjoyed every second of their demise.

Never forget the banner, the taunts and the bile spewed unchecked for so many years.

Bring it on cunts, we have no fear.

I don't think that was the aim of the anger from our fellow blue

It was the dismissing this as just another game that seems to have irked some.

As a a gortonian and mancunian this isn't just another game.

This is a game against the fucking rags, the usurpers in our city, the vile wankers that insult our citys name by using it.

Them red cunts basically.

Btw I welcome us having fans from all over the world and have mates who are both from overseas and berts so my angle isn't a Manchester City belongs to Manchster one but a I hate the rags and dismissing them as just another opposition team is bollocks anlge

Of course some are more important, but my reaction to a win or defeat no matter the stakes are the same, if we had the title sewn up and this result didn't matter, it would still matter.

Cannot say I feel the same about any other club in the league.

That back 4 looks shit.
If we get a grip of Fernandes and rashford we'll win it
Fernandes is their main man now. No silly free kicks on the edge of the box and we'll be right. Need Walker in there for Lord Rashford's pace on the counter. He normally runs straight, like a headless chicken and has little control... however, against us, he turns into a world beater - not today hopefully.

OGS will be looking to deliver “another masterclass” to Pep. LOL
If we can get an early goal, we should go on to win this. They will have watched how Spuds did it and their kick and chase game is like theirs.
We must be clever and take our chances today, and not be sloppy in defence.
VAR, PiGMOL and all Media will be rooting for the rags.
It’s a bus parking session with kick and chase from the rags. I have a funny feeling it will be a draw, because OGS is staring down the barrel of a sacking if it starts crumbling now.
1-1

40+ shots on target with one goal for us.

A lucky deflection to make is 1-1 at HT
Second half we have our usual drop off and an 79th min pen following VAR for thrm cunts bruno fernandes scores, we rue our chances again and the gnome saves his job for another week

Worryingly, this sounds about right!
VAR & PiGMOL are our biggest threat today.

Going to be a dull draw - 0-0 or 1-1.

Just hope they don't get an early goal (or two) and it's all uphill from then on. Liverpool & scum oftern seem to score early against us.

Keep our defensive shape, no diving in or it's a certain pen, with or without VAR

I'll be gutted if we play into their hands like we did with Spurs and Leicester. We have to accept that if a half decent team decides to play on the counter and are happy to take a draw, we can't just leave ourselves open. We need to be more savvy in these games. We are as good as anybody on the counter, in fact we're pretty devastating when we break. If we have to take our time drawing them into our half then so be it. We can play that game too and we can do it better than them.

Yeah and the classic example of that was us throwing away a 2 goal lead and a chance to rub their noses in it with a 5/6-0 drubbing whilst lifting the title. The league was already won bar the shouting but that fucking hurt as it always should. Their celebrations that night also showed how far they’d fallen but even so we missed a great opportunity to really belittle them and that should never be passed upon.
