Yeah, I think either Aguero or Torres is out of the squad, some bloody tough calls right now. I think if we play a false 9, the best balance on the bench is with Torres over Aguero. There’d be no reason to have 2 strikers on the bench and no winger. But if we start Jesus then Torres misses out for me. Harsh on Ake too but we will only name 6 defenders in the squad and he has no case to be in over any of them unfortunately.

We may well end up playing these again in the FA Cup at some stage before seasin’s end. Would love to not only beat them heavily tomorrow but crush their spirit as well

Shame there's no CFG teams in the Thursday Cup. Maybe Dzeko could put them out of that too for a laugh.

Cannot abide the dippers, but........

These lot are a different level.

Will never wear anything red, buy anything by vodafone, Sharp, Chevrolet and all the other shit they have had plastered on their shirts or been associated with.

The only things allowed in my house that are red are ketchup and wine - so may people think I'm "sad" but then so many people will never understand how these were the banes of our lives with their arrogance, ridiculing us at any and every opportunity and just being utter rag c*nts for most of my life.

The tables have turned and we are by a mile better than them both on and off the pitch.

Yet my hatred of all things rag will never diminish.

I'm still awake at daft o'clock as I still get more nervous about this game than any other, so watching videos of the 5-1, the 6-1,the last Maine Road derby, Vinnies header, the 4-1 at the Etihad (both of them) , the cup semi final, Dennis has done it backheel, the 50th Munich anniversary derby win, Geovanni and obviously 93:20 as that pained them more than anything!!

I hate derby day.........help us out City, lets make it 22 in a row

I hate derby day. I can (sort of) handle losing to most teams. Shit happens. And I've had 50+ years of handling defeats. But the thought that we could lose to that mob sickens me. And the fact that we're miles better than them now is largely irrelevant. We've been better than them for years now, yet our recent home record against them isn't great. I'm okay(ish) at the moment but, come kick off, I'll be a nervous wreck.

Bacon and egg sandwich, 6-1 on the telly, beer at noon. Feeling nervous today, think the prospect of going 17 clear makes this a huge game, other than the fact it's a derby.
