A more realistic petition would be to get David Gill off the FA board, how the acting CEO of a football club being on the board of the governing body isn't a conflict of interest is beyond me. He should be given a choice, leave his post at United or leave his post at the FA. This is probably where a lot of their influence/leeway with the FA comes from, they literally have a man on the inside.
If only someone who was close to city was inside and could report on this blatent corruption, we should try to get a city man as FA chairman perhaps..
I have also noticed the blatent favouratism of referees towards Bolton and assume this must be because their chairman is on the board aswell.
Bernstein is not a "City man" rag (and left the club on bad terms with Wardle and Keegan), every person at the FA, UEFA, FIFA, and other governing bodies supports a club but if they are not employed by said club there is no conflict of interest. David Gill as CEO of the most powerful club in the country should
not hold a position of influence in the FA while he is actively employed by your club.
We saw just how pro-City Bernstein was recently when the FArce upheld Kompany's ban for a fair tackle (far worse than which have since gone unpunished) and of course pressured Webb into "not seeing" Balotelli's incident so that they could prosecute with haste.
It's easy to see no irregularities when your dirty club is on the end of constant favouritism (and hilariously on the rare occasions something does go against you, there is media outcry for days and subsequent pressure on the referees/linesmen to not repeat the "mistake" with this club),
just have a look at City's disciplinary record before and after the 6-1 massacre if you want your eyes opened a bit. Suddenly we go from a typical team with cards here and there to the new Wimbledon, butchers and grafters who apparently have to rely on pure filthy tactics to get our results. 4 red cards, 1 retrospective ban, and 24 yellow cards in 15 games since the demolition job. Compared to 0 red cards, 0 retrospective bans, and 14 yellow cards at the Swamp since the demolition job. Must be that cultured, possession dominating style your lot play, har har.
<--- Redcafe is that way or perhaps you'd prefer a dose of propaganda from Herr Crerand on MUTV. -->
