Boss and ream are not words I ever heard when I lived in Manc. Boss is something american kids say and it's a fucking chip buttie.

Boss is so manc everything was boss in the 80's as where perry boys and ellesse jumpers lol

I got out at the end of 78 so I missed all that "blokes being into fashion" stuff.
Sewing zips into a pair of shit stoppers we nicked off our grandads and sticking safety pins in our ears was good enough for us Failsworth/Newton Heath scum.

My brother always greet's me with the name nobrot, not sure if it's a manc thing as no one else call's me that.

BTW i was born in a maisonette in Miles Platting carn't get much more manc than that.
