Brew more fosters at the royal brewery in manchester than anywhere else in the world.
Also make kronenburg there.

Are you sure that Bodds is'nt brewed in Manchester anymore? I know, of course, that the brewery has now gone.

I used to work for Interbrew/Whitbreads and when they were trying to close the brewery it almost came unstuck when the American market pointed out that the selling slogan of the product in America was "The Cream of Manchester"
America was one of the major markets where Boddingtons was being pushed and was at one time the fastest growing "specialist beer" as it were, their.

So, it had to remain in Manchester. I left about then but I'm sure that Hydes were going to brew it to comply with the Manchester connection. Mind, that was 8 years ago and things might not of happened or since changed.

Seems different beers are brewed in different places! You were right about Hydes, and Magor is Newport, South Wales
From Wiki -
# Boddingtons Cask (3.8% ABV) The original cask conditioned variant. It accounts for 10% of all Boddingtons sold.[44] Rarely seen outside the beer's North West of England heartland.[45] Contract brewed for AB InBev by Hydes.

# Boddingtons Draughtflow (3.5% ABV) The most popular variant of the beer. A bitter available in cans and kegs. The canned variant, launched in 1991, contains a widget.[28] It is brewed in Salmesbury and Magor.

Boggart ales.....but it's from, err, Newton heath......

And Newton Heath isn't part of Manchester....??

As for Boddies....maybe there was plans to brew it at Hyde's but it's brewed in Wrexham since Strangeways closed. 'The Cream Of Wrexham' doesn't have the same ring to it though uh? Lol (Same ad campaign ran here too)

Boddies is a manc beer. Always has been always will be and it is the nectar of the gods. To even consider fozzies on a day like today is criminal
