Manchester City and Erling Haaland are the cover stars of EA Sports FC

For those that don’t know, EA Sports and FIFA failed to reach an agreement in terms of letting EA use the FIFA branding in their games with FIFA wanting a gigantic sum for the long-standing deal to continue. EA decided their own brand was strong enough to continue without the FIFA name and EA Sports FC was born. City and Haaland will be the cover stars of the first release.

I don’t play computer games anymore, but 25 years ago this would have been a really big deal for me! Good exposure for the player and the club.

I used to wonder why no City players ever featured on the cover of these games even when our players were coveted for a long time.

Now I see it, I think 'fuck off now, cunts'.

It's only cos of Haaland as I don't believe we'd have featured without him, treble or not.
