I am all for new housing but can we please have some that look nice or at least dont scream "eyesore in ten years"
i agree. its as if a lot of architects/designers all get taught the same things. these look awful.

Architects do exactly as developers tell them....especially in housing of this scale.i agree. its as if a lot of architects/designers all get taught the same things. these look awful.
The most disappointing thing about this is that the Council is involved, and probably insisted the developer uses either 1 Manchester Architectural practice, or any number of London ones.
Parking is getting close to impossible in town.
there's a car park just at the back of the piccadilly where the trams come out. Think that's pretty cheap.

The industrial estate started closing down int the 60s and 70s. What do you remember or know about the period after that? It was very run down by the time the COMs went up.No it hasn't.
