Manchester City Players Who Captained England

Right, done a bit of digging and have come up with the following and please feel free to correct me if I am wrong and there are in fact others

Gareth Barry (1 game in 2011)
Colin Bell (1 game in 1972)
Frank Swift (2 games in 1948)
Sam Barkas (3 games in 1937)
Max Woosnam (1 game in 1922

So I was wrong about Hart & Milner!!! I hope that at some point that is remedied as I do believe both, with their work ethic deserve it though now Jimmy is at Scousepool he can wait!!!

Slight shift on the original question then ..... how many former England Captains have played at some point in their careers for City? (and for the sake of clarity let's go with the interpretation I posted previously i.e. those who led the players on to the pitch as Captain)

We can now happily include Big Dave Watson, David Seaman, Stuart Pearce & Mick Channon for starters .... any more?

May be the wrong thread as he wasn't a City player, but I have a question about England captains that I ask people and no one ever gets it right - who was the last footballer to captain England on his international debut?
A pint of Wobbly Bob (6% ABV) at my local if you get it right.

Claude Ashton 1925.

No, it was George Hardwick, of Middlesbrough and Oldham Athletic, who captained England when full internationals resumed in the autumn of 1946 after the war. He was a handsome beast, with a Clark Gable moustache, and allegedly had many a conquest among his lady followers. His debut match saw him appointed captain, as he had a distinguished bearing and could play a bit.
I shall google his photograph and see if he really was as handsome as I remember him.
Sorry if (a) this is about a non-City player and (b) if it sounds a bit gay.
