Manchester City - Premier League Champions 2022/23

At some point we had to contemplate that Arsenal might win this league and personally I'd started to console myself (should this happen) with at least it's not Liverpool, and we've just won it twice in a row, can't expect to win it every time. Then I heard them, what they'd be saying today, we paid 500 billion for the best player in the world and didn't win the league. I also felt bad for Haaland, imagine coming here and being the top scorer and not having anything to show for it, doing a Harry Kane. He deserves better than that.

Also, Grealish after the Almiron comment when Almiron suddenly turned into a goal scoring assist machine whilst Grealish was quietly doing the important stuff without the stats to back it up with the Fifa and fantasy football fan boys. And I thought nah fuck this, we need to win. We need to shut these cunts up.

Also, you bring a world class player like Haaland and I feel you need to pay that back with a league title. Look at him today how buzzing he was. He's definitely a character, (Clive Martin once described a young Haaland as having "exactly the same vibe as the thousands of Scandi teenage boys i've met on my travels, the ones who lean into your ear and bellow 'the girls in here are fucking crazy man!'"), swearing live on sky, leaving an interview to dance with the fans, the way he was loving the ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh as he lifted the trophy in front of the fans. His Dad, his history with us, I can't imagine signing a player like that and not winning the league.

As much as I like Jesus and used to like Zinny, imagine seeing them lift that trophy today. As much as I like Artetta, imagine what they'd be saying today. Like Pep said in that clip that's going about - if they want this make them fight for it. Don't let them just take it from you. I fucking love that.

Imagine those Arsenal TV cunts today and all those random weirdos down in London making viral tiktok videos about them winning the league. Imagine going into 2 important finals on the back of not winning the league. Ah fuck that imagine the TV coverage if Arsenal won - it would be like the crowing of King Charles but with hip hop music and a million selfie sticks. Fucking cockney jokers don't deserve to win fuck all.

All of our players, heroes to the very last man deserve this.

Amazing day and hopefully more to come in next couple of weeks. Watched game here in Ireland with my lad and was such a great occassion. Thinking of my dad who passed away now three years ago from cancer, he had been a City fan since the 1950's and loved our trips over for games. Was not easy being a City fan here in 80s and especially 90s but he made it bareable, thanks dad for giving me the gift of supporting such a wonderful club and team.

Pretty much the same for me, but it was my grandad. I used to go on my grans season ticket in the late 60,s. It seemed like a good decision then. Wow i suffered for years, but not now. I love my late (rip) grandad, it just doesn't get better than this.

Thanks for posting that livestream as SSN coverage was it's usual excreable self.

I was very teary eyed at the celebrations, it means so much to us, especially those whose loved ones are no longer with us.

Did wonder if Pep would play it cool with his celebrations, not a word of it dancing like a crazy mf! Lovely moment when he hugged Rico on the podium. Don't think it's blue tinted bias, but all our lads seem like decent, good people. What absolute fighters, to kick on after the World Cup, rediscover form, and Stones to channel his inner Rijkaard, Pep tweaks ...... Two finals from immortality!

It just doesn't get more City

In a lower standard of game too tbh. Even those best united teams would've been chasing air the way we outclassed Madrid
