Manchester City releases 2023-24 Annual Report | Record £715m revenue, profit of £73m

Are we going to see Neville saying "It's impossible" again, after the the latest accounts. The cartel will again be shown how a club should be run. It's going to get even more vein popping when the North stand is complete plus the revenue from the Co-Op arena !!!!
Not to mention the £50-60m for the club World Cup

Ticket prices will have to be reduced, simplified and transparent if we want to sell 8000 extra seats whilst undertaking a major rebuild.

Fans are understandably at a tipping point.

The club has got to have a fundamental rethink on pricing in all areas except corporate.

A huge new signing and wage in Lord Pannick and Co, that's going to show up !!!
Do both parties stand their costs in the 115 case irrespective of the outcome ??

What are City's options for financial recourse when we win ??

1) Minimum 10% 'rebate' to all this seasons Season & Flexi ticket holders by way of a contra against next seasons tickets.

2) Minimum 10% reduction in all non corporate ticket prices for next season.

3) Price freeze on all tickets for the following 3 years.

4) Review all catagories of ticket prices with a view to a simple, transparent, lower priced structure.

We are not a PLC where YoY Revenue and Profit growth are expected to protect/enhance share vslue and dividend payments.

We are a private company with two shareholders.
My 5th point is -:

A series of fan incentives ie 'Kid a Quid', 'Dads & Lads', 'Ladies Days', 'Grandads & Grandsons' etc for ALL domestic cup ties.

Make these incentives a feature of our culture, reconnect with the fan base and encourage the next generation of young Mancunians.

Any thoughts from others ??

I particularly like the idea of a Grandads and Grandsons incentive.
My 5 year old grandson has been to one PL game with me( when my friend was on holiday) and I will be taking him to the Salford City cup game.
As you rightly suggest,it will build an on going bond between myself and Declan my grandson, but it may also make him want to attend other City matches in the future.

Nice one, Ant.

Don’t forget the compensation from ATP maybe even the current case and no more legal costs going forward o and new Etihad and other deals previously rejected but no longer
