Manchester City releases 2023-24 Annual Report | Record £715m revenue, profit of £73m

The profit was £105m excluding buying and selling players in effect. I don't think it is too bleak. The fact amortization reduces the operating profit by £165m but player sales don't affect it maybe slightly misleading, that is what they also give the operating profit excluding player trading figure of £105m.
That's a fair point and we do generate over £100m free cash per annum but looking at it on a like-for-like basis excluding player sales the trend, which has been steady for a few years, is now downwards.

Quire a bit of money will be going on renewing player’s contracts that are already here…Rodri and Haaland won’t be cheap.
Haaland already earns a million a week
I read it in the BBC Have your say
And I don't know why we pay him so much when he's a division two player

Perhaps an impact from the overhanging charges and more stringent rules.

Not sure your serious?

There are not 5 players out there that would not improve this team?

Wirtz, Musiala, Robinson, Braithwaite, Zubimendi, Bruno, Frimpong, Delap, etc

As in Antonee Robinson? I remember mentioning him on here about 3 seasons ago as a great shout for LB and got laughed out of the pub.

Very good player and wildly underrated because he isn’t from Brazil and called Robinsondinho.

We’ve already sold two of those!
