Manchester City Ruined Football by Buying the Title

Just ignore them.

There's not a football fan / supporter in the country who wouldn't want someone with the financial backing of HH Sheikh Mansour to buy their club, even if any of them denied it.

I've read scum fans on different forums condemming City for 'buying' the league, and then stating they would like a rich oil sheikh to buy Salford red sox. Hypocrites, the lot of them!

The next thing you'll find is that European teams such as Real Madrid and AC Milan will follow us and start buying players

I tell ya, it's the future

All we have done is show how much clubs have to spend to be in with a chance for the title. When fans of Everton,Villa and others look at us they know they need owners who would be willing to put in at least half a billion pound just to be in the mix.

This thing about Arsenal never spending money is also bollox. I guess they got guys like Bergkamp,Overmars,Pettit,Henry,Wiltord,RVP,Reyes,Nasri,Arshavin,Walcott,Chamberlain,Hleb,Eduardo and Gervinho for fook all ??

True, they dont splash £30,000,000 on a single player, but they still splash a few bob ! The reason they dont win things anymore is prob down to the fact that they dont spend £30,000,000 on single signings.

The list of British transfer records smashed by the red scumers is almost endless. They just choose to forget about Veron, Daffy Duck Rio, Shreko et al. They got a bit of credit bringing through that youth team, but even that was only a few, and distant history.

We've only paid the going rate for the worlds best, and nothing like £80 million for CR that's funded their (pathetic) transfer efforts for the past 2 years.

Something that a lot of people have been saying to me, re-iterated after Chelsea's European win.

One thing about it that baffles me, hasn't this past season been the closest premier league title race ever?

If we had absolutely smashed it with a 20 point gap, sure, okay. But it went to goal difference? And up until a few weeks ago, weren't Tottenham done it off our own backs and never spent nothing Hotspur 6 points behind and being tipped for the title?

Newcastle came out of nowhere and nearly gate crashed the champions league, Swansea beat us and Arsenal off the top of my head.

I honestly can't see how we ruined it, when at the same time, it was the best season ever?

As every pundit had said it was the most exciting end of season ever in the Prem and that is because of MCFC.

Why do we keep talking about this

We wont change anyones view, they can all tell me how empty the win must of felt untill a sheep makes a moon base on Mars but they still wont shift my view as it being the greatest day of my life

They wont change what they think as wrong as it may be but we wont change their views so leave them to be mindless media following sheep. Im cool with it

The only people city ruined football for are the glory hunting 'supporters' of manchester united. They jumped on that big red bandwagon in the anticipation of a lifetime of glory, trophies and gloating. And we have set that wagon on course for perpetual mediocrity and the odd carling cup.

You have to feel for the poor darlings. We've really fucked it for them. I expect the chorus of "football's gone shit now' to rise in volume over the next few years, like it did when Chelsea dominated. Except then they had funds and could recover.

FC united must be rubbing their hands.
It seems the only fans in football, apart from the relegated sides of course, who don't consider 2011-12 to be one of the greatest in history is the rags. Most neutrals seemed to love it.
The Happy Shopper rag franchise of splitters, cowards, traitors and skinflints can expect a big influx of 8itter 8ottlers and 20sers next season

Many Rags argue that their spending is "different" as they are spending money they have earned, whereas we are spending Mansour's money.
They then throw in: if Mansour left tomorrow we would be fucked, whereas they would stay successful due to their mass revenue stream."

They have been so bitter about us winning the league, you tell them about Gibson/Edwards and how they have had benefactors at their club over the years and they look at you with blank expressions.

Their main arguments are that they are more profitable, which is a business issue, yet complain about investment at another business.

I'd welcome capped salaries, abolishment of transfer fee's and so on yet the money men took control of this sport way before I was even born.

When Chelsea won the CL at the weekend I thought: great, good on you Chelsea. Most of the Rags I saw were bitter about it and couldn't allow another team to have success.

City fans may end up like this sadly, if this is the by-product of success then why are we cheering when we win?

Arrogant tossers the lot of them.
