I really hope the crowd don't start transmitting bad vibes and anxiety if we don't score early. I know people can't always help it but make the effort tonight If we have to be patient, so be it.

As long as you're not going i think we'll be alright

Well the bad news is, of course I'm going.

We'll be alright :)

No Pam - the bad news is for the poor fuckers sat either side.

Do you think he will play 2 up front tonight? With us only needing a draw would 1 man be a more sensible approach or should we just go for the kill?

Villa are a good counter attacking team who are able to score from very few chances with little possession (last time we played them they got 3 goals from 4 shots on target against our 7 on target and 20 shots in all). Against Palace we had much more control of the game playing a bit deeper - I would like to see this tonight.

You go for the kill tonight. It's a momentum thing. A win tonight gives us it all going into Sun with minimal nerves as we can afford to draw. A draw tonight would change the mood BIG TIME.

Plus I think it'll be more important going into the final game only neediing a draw. If that is the case the temptation to play three midfielders and just shut up shop completely would be very strong indeed. I doubt Pellegrini will do this though. Hes always said if we win the league we'll win it in style! Hope he's right!

Come on City!

I agree the win tonight keeps the momentum going. The concentration and commitment in both these games has to be 100% - at 3-1 we invited Everton onto us and then had a nervous 20 minutes at the end. Tonight if we go ahead we keep the ball and we control the midfield - I thought at Palace we did this well and they barely had a sniff

We will play a game consistent with our values. Attractive and attacking
MP will not compromise to the situation
It's our philosophy and it will work

Whatever the result it's going down to the final day, and we're really good at final days :)
Do you remember,Luton (1982),and QPR (1998) :(

God, did you have to mention Luton 1982. I had to be physically restrained from running on the pitch to strangle that jigging muppet Pleat.

Anger soon turned to sorrow though and I spent the next half hour or so quietly sobbing.

So.... It just shows how far we have come... let's bag 3 points tonight and on Sunday, because we are more than capable of doing so!

Scouse thing ;-)
