I've never had a problem taking a flask in but they take bottles of water off you if they see them which doesn't make sense to me.

Probably more worried about bottles being left behind/thrown on the pitch

You can take in 500ml bottles and flasks. No glass or cans or bottles bigger than 500ml

If you come across a jobsworth of a steward at the turnstiles, they will tell you that you are only allowed to take 500ml of liquids in.

I had a 750ml bottle in my hand and he said i couldn't take it in. So i drank about a third of it and walked into the turnstile next door to him :)

If they give you a hard time about the size of the water bottle tell them you're diabetic, they might be more forgiving. Here in the states I bring gallon jugs with me to the movies, water park etc.. They can't deny you here if you tell them you're diabetic.

If this goes to extra time and penalties, at what time can we expect the early leavers to depart?

KO 20-10pm. Half-time about 20-55pm. KO 2nd half about 21-15pm - finishes about 22-05pm
If extra time , with Toss-up and change of ends say KO 22-15pm - 2 x halfs of 15 mins lets say match finishes about
22-50pm. So you can expect to be in your cars about 23-10pm.
I live 53 mins from Etihad so could be home about midnight + 3 mins. Hope its all worth it and next match in the FA cup will be Watford at home.

Well I live at +1 GMT so I'll be getting back home on thursday then.

They played a negative formation at Ewood and got away with it because of lacklustre us and crap pitch.

The draw is pretty pointless for them too, they have a big game against Forest at the weekend and they won't want to knacker out their players if it went down to extra time.
