Manchester City versus the World

Noticed the linesman (sorry, assistant Ref) saw every single marginal off-side decision, but missed 2 stonewall penalties right in front of him. Even if Oliver claims he didn't see them, no excuses for the linesman!

If we had lost today, Oliver's inept performance would be getting a lot more attention on here. When we overcome such ludicrously wank officiating to win it is quickly lost in the joy of winning with occasional exceptions (our home win over Wolves last season where Atwell was so openly biased that people were ready to jump the boards and massacre him). Oliver was called the bright young ref who hadn't been "gotten to yet" on BM last season as well. Perceptions of him started to change with this pathetic non-penalty decision.

6 minutes 15 seconds of injury time, after he'd originally signalled for 5 (which was bad enough seeing as the trainer never set foot on the pitch in the 2nd half), did nothing to persuade me from the view that Oliver is just Ferguson's latest woman. The cnut was clearly intent on playing on for as long as possible to give Spurs every opportunity to score. Disgraceful

not a city fan but like watching them play and you definately and consistantly have major decisions going against you. city fans need to mobilise and start phoning these talkshows and complaints against motd, ssn the officials listen and watch these programs and it will be on their minds if people are talking about it. It needs to be an organised and consistant effort. Trick is to be a football fan rather than a city fan who's just pissed off because of decisions going against his team. Sooner or later it will cost you, it needs to stop, FAIR PLAY thats there moto needs to be highlighted.
