I had Garcia down at fault for all 3 goals that we conceded. Please someone tell me I'm wrong!

I am getting more and more excited. All the signings look brilliant. Now we have width. Our passing is incredible.
For 35 minutes there we were breathtaking. Not bothered about the rest. You play that back 4 and you will concede goals, and once the second half comes in these games it's just a training exercise.
I think something very special is about to happen.

Great attacking link-up between Jovetic, Navas, Silva and Dzeko with Fernandinho, Micah and Kolarov adding to it.
Less said about the CBs in particular the better, you can't play two pedestrian CBs with a high defensive line, it's just too easy for the opposition to play it over the top.

The only negative was the poor quality of our backup defenders. Hasn't changed my opinion that Garcia should never play CB, and Lescott should be replaced with a better defender. Joleon's pace on the third goal was shocking.
Lescottwas caught napping a few times , but he certainly wasn't alone ....... and yes , Garcia is certainly no defender.
Jovetic's performance was wonderful. People banged on about his stats and lack of goals but today showed exactly what sort of player he is. He'll create chances and support the team magnificently. All four of our new signings look excellent additions who all bring something new to the team. Silva looks at his best already and Dzeko is liberated in the box. The one place we haven't added to in the market, defence, looked very poor playing the high line... Garcia had a nightmare but neither Kolarov or Joleon looked very good either. When Navas, Fernandinho and Silva went off the whole team became much more one dimensional and last season-esque... Barry, Milner, Rodwell good players but not on the same level as those they replaced.
