From the Beeb...

I wonder if we could swap Ojay Ojay for some of our fans :-)
The thing is though Cheesy, i think we can play so much better than we did tonight. Good possession yes, but not much threat. But i suppose it's a good thing that neutrals think we did well when i firmly belief we were far from our best tonight.

I agree mate. Made a post in the main forum saying much the same. Those saying we didn't play very well though are frankly talking out of their butts :-)

people keep saying not a bad result...I kind of disagree. A draw at home in a group stage is not great.
It's no great, and we should have won, but it could have been worse. Given all the possession we had I thought Hart was the busier keeper.

I don't think we played that well, but Juve made it tough, typical Italian away performance. However the draw is ok i think, we're well capable of getting a result in Turin, i assume they'll come onto us a bit more so we'll be able to attack into a bit more space.

We should beat Salzburg and Lech at home, and going to Poland, well as long as we don't get beaten there. We should still ease through the group fairly comfortably.

Personally I thought that we could have won it. But it was still a good showing, I thought a lot of the long balls were aimed way too far ahead, that ws frustratin the hell outta me. I also think that the main difference was experience. They atarted off fast and strong and took advantage of that with a brilliant goal. It took us a while to get into the game and once we did we bossed them around hard. Sure we never really got close to there goal but it was because they were being cautious of us. I think that they thought getting the draw was a job well done and played for that. We tried hard for the win but int he end it just didn't come. Once Balotelli is back we are gonna be one REAL tough side to face. I was thoroughly unimpressed with Ade tonight. he worked his socks off and was trying real hard. But maybe that was his problem, he was trying too hard.

content with a point.

And Juve is not average. Their long range attacks and setpieces looked superior to Top PL teams bar Chelski with drogba. Though they do lack box attacks and crosses.

Yeah, I guess I should have expected the relatively tame affair considering it was 2 Italian teams playing :0)

We were sloppy in midifield and we lacked a killer pass; something Silva could have provided much earlier. Johnson spent the night running in to black and white shirts. Don't get me started on Adebayor tonight.

It's a bloody game, played by blokes who aren't supermen they try their best, we support, yeah a bit frustrating if you want goals goals goals, but come on, we doing great..aren't we???

...funny how people see things if such different ways
Juventus are "just men" as well, though, and our "men" are better than their "men".

We dominated posession and mustered 5 shots all night. Adebayor... Vieira and Barry. Give me strength.

We came from behind and controlled the game since that to finish but got to give the benefit to Juventus's 11 men behind the ball!
How can some people still moaned about our performance is beyond me!!!!

Milner was on the pitch for 6 minutes and lost the ball 3 to 4 times which is more than silva or toure did in more time than him,not saying that he is a bad player but looking at krasic, you can say that krasic at least looked composed and well aware of what to do.
