In all honesty, i think a draw would be the most realistic outcome as it would reflect the quality of the teams in fairness. As i said, you have bigger names and we have more of a team.

I reffered to the game at the Etihad because we had a goal disallowed for offside when it clearly wasn't and to be honest, i feel both teams had an equal amount of chances.

You have a great manager in Pelegrini, much better than Mancini and are playing some outstanding footie but he is still adapting to the PL.

You can bet your house Anfield will be like nothing you have ever seen before on Sunday and i whilst it will get youngsters like Flanagan and Sterling and Hendo up for the occasion, it could see Negredo, Dzeko, Jovetic, Silva and Garcia just being a bit more cautious.

Whoever thinks Luis Suarez doesn't perform against the big teams is sorely mistaken. Remember what he did when Kuyt scored his hatrick against united? Suarez has a much bigger contribution than just scoring goals...i believe he is also leading the assists table.

A lot will depend on whether Aguero is back for you guys, you look a much stronger team with him. Kompany is skating on thin ice lately and with the crowd at full blast i wouldn't put it past Clattenburg to award a penalty or show red.

Yep all International players, some of which have captained their country, some of which have won world cups/Euro's are going to be very cautious of your carnival atmosphere on Sunday.

Give it a rest.

Plus three of our probable starters on Sunday played in Argentina, where the noise at matches will make Anfield on Sunday look like Prenton Park for an end of season dead rubber.

It'll be loud for sure, but I doubt that it will be particularly intimidating for our players. Sure, some of their fans will give them stick whenever an incident on the pitch occurs that winds them up but that's no different to any other football ground in England.

I've seen City play on something like 80 different grounds and while Anfield has certainly had it's moments on previous visits with regards to noise levels, in terms of intimidation of our players it doesn't come close to Millwall in 1998. That night the atmosphere was both noisy and poisonous. It still didn't stop that useless lump Bradbury bagging us an equaliser though.

If there's one thing this thread proves in abundance it's that we are a tolerant lot on Bluemoon.
We put up with dippers claiming that Sturridge is better than Aguero, that the noise at Klanfield on Sunday will make a Motorhead gig sound like a Trappist monastery, and then get told that we need to learn lessons in humility.
Yet one post on RAWK promoting my new Candle Poundshop on Miseryside and I'm banned.
It's like fucking North Korea on there.

Hadn't seen that before. That's about as silly as the hartlepool monkey hangers, but to be fair to them, that was 200 years ago, not 2005.

There seems to be a consensus that just about everybody — yeah, even the rags — wants us to win, and that if it comes to a toss up for the Premiership between us and Liverpool, most prefer us. Liverpool fans at present seem to be truly generating hatred. I went and had a brief look on RAWK, but signed out after four minutes, it's like a madhouse over there.

It's true, I don't know anyone that wants Liverpool to win the title except for Liverpool supporters.

Can you please explain me why that is the case? I support Man City but my third favorite team in the league this year is easily Liverpool, based on the style of play. (My second favorite being Everton, of course).

Most United supporters HATE Liverpool and their supporters with a passion.

Man City are a rival of ours but it's nothing like the rivalry we have with Liverpool - it's so different, it's difficult to explain. Probably because generally we live with and get on with blues at work etc so we're used to each other.

Liverpool supporters are a different breed - they're are self entitled, self important, deluded fuckwits.
