Who was responsible for that article going to print,was it the editor?

No. The editor couldn't possibly get involved in going over every thing that gets published. It will have got the once-over from someone else on the web team, who operate semi-independently to the newspaper staff.

ive never been one for "the agenda"however,if a similar picture was taken at old Trafford would that get in,i think you know the answer,its quite sickening to see whats gone on here,its good that people from the men have responded,but for me this is a total fucking disgrace,and no matter what anybody says from the men the damage has been done in my eyes.

ive always read (online) the men,its the 3rd source of my city fix,however im not sure I will ever bother again,this is as I say a total and utter fucking disgrace,

all I ask is WHY ?,what have city done to the local paper that deserves this shit,and I would ask that no bluemooners ever post a link to the M.U.E.N

David Lynch. I will not buy the MEN or visit your website again whilst you are employed by the paper. I am sure other City fans will take a similar stance. I will only hear that you have been removed from the paper if Stuart or someone else comes on here and mentions it, maybe in another thread. You can print this off and put it in your dossier for your next performance appraisal if you like.

Mike Keegan and Stuart Brennan. We appreciate not all MEN journalists are City fans, and we accept this. We can accept criticism when it is fair, and we appreciate all the positive stuff written about the club especially by Stuart. But I (and I am sure many others) will no longer put up with your newspaper if you allow this sort of rubbish to be printed or published online.

Both your contributions to this thread can only be seen as damage limitation, well after the horse has bolted. Your article Stuart was so rushed that you allowed it to go out without being checked properly. But there was no apology, and you can both see that you have deeply offended a large percentage of your target audience. When will we see an apology?
