I went to school near Stockport in the late sixties and in my class it was 75% City with those that were interested in football.. One lad supported Altrincham, and used to wear a lapel badge saying Altrinchampions which amused me.

Did he have a complex and a bald head? Think he's a ref now.

I live in the blue enclave that is Stockport, but in general I’d say south / west Mcr is more raggy and north :/ east more blue.
