It's my 40th in February and trying to plan in parties/meals around the holiday we have booked (My actual birthday is while in Fuerteventura).

Looking for a nice restaurant that is good with small group bookings (11 of us) and kids, to have a family meal - there will be 8 Adults, and 3 Kids (Aged 3, 7 and 10). Not looking for anything Michelin Starred, but also something better than Nando's - maybe something with a nice private dining room too. I know Jamie's Italian used to have that function room in the Bank Vault, so something unique like that would be good.

Anybody have any recommendations?

Fazenda has a private dining room, great if you like copious amount of meat!

Sapporo Tepinyaki is good for a group, you can have your own table where the chef cooks in front of you

Gios in Lower Mosley Street. A pretty decent Italian.

Yes, I've been wanting to go here for ages. Looks like the kind of restaurant that hasn't changed its decor much over the years, and so must still be there in it's City-Centre location on merit for it's quality of food - and not because it's Instagram-friendly!
