Has anyone ever stayed at Manchester Sportcity Travel lodge?

much to do in that neck of the woods?

You are better off staying at the travelodge in ancoats

20 minutes walk to the game, five minutes walk from the centre of town

It's in a sidestreet , off Hyde Road , opposite the British Car Auctions .... just near the junction with Alan Turing Way.

Would take you about 20-25 minutes to walk to the ground from there (i used to do the walk reguarly) ..... or a five minute cab ride!

Yep. So might as well stay in town then eh!

Yeah , i'd say town is a better bet .....

to be honest the Hyde Road area , where the Sportscity Travelodge is , has never really recovered from the area that it once was , back in the 1970's ...... it wasn't particuarly great even then , but it certainly had a lot more going on than it has nowadays !
