Manchester sports teams

We’ve got City, Storm, Giants, Belle Vue Aces, Titans, Lancashire CC, are there any I’m missing?

I love how big all sports seem to be in the US. Chicago for example has had champions in every major sport they participate it. Bulls, Blackhawks, Cubs, bears. I also think it’s great how European clubs have a range of sporting teams, such a good idea!

Having no sport at the moment is a killer, and I’m trying to get myself excited about everything we have on offer when it all starts up again. I think some of the smaller clubs will be struggling financially so I want to get around as much as I can.

I go to city & giants regularly and a few storm games, but I really fancy giving Titans a go.

which other local sports do BM’ers frequent? I know @grunge is a big storm follower.

Lancashire CC aren’t in Manchester. They’re up the road from another non-Manchester sports team.

Yeah but they represent Lancashire as a county (not that we are Lancashire anymore), whereas that other team just represent Trafford, Essex Ireland and London

Been to Giants. Skill level is superb. Much better than equivalent level football.

Behave, they are the illegitimate sons of rags and were based in Bury for a lot of their existence

Been to Giants. Skill level is superb. Much better than equivalent level football.

They play in the top league in the country, it’s end to end. Far better than football sometimes (although not OUR football)
