Trains back are worse. There's one at 18.43 and one at 19.41. It might be worth leaving early to try catch the 18 43.

It was like this when Newcastle came to us last year. The guards were doing a no overtime strike so train service was reduced. Very crowded on first train after the match but I think everyone got on.

Yeah it reaches there by 14:05..that is like 2 extra hours to kill..

Having done some searching, it's not that deep (as it stands). Only directs from manchester to Newcastle are affected.

The trains that were going going from Victoria are still running but they're only going as far as York. There are then trains running from York to Newcastle.

9.22 Victoria to York 11.05
9.27 Piccadilly to York 11.36
10.06 Victoria to York 12.03
10.30 Piccadilly to York 12.36

11.08 York to Newcastle
11.31 York to Newcastle
12.31 York to Newcastle
13.31 York to Newcastle

Be careful as that route last Sat between York n North East as there was cancellations n delays galore.

As some of you may know Im a 2 club wanker so hoping to travel up Saturday morning to watch Darlington at 3pm then on from there Sunday for the City game.

Can see trains on the Trainline App but you cant help thinking they wont be there on the day.
