this. Allowing Rodders or Fern to step into midfield and overload when we have the ball but protect us better against the counter.

You appear to be short of two quick wingbacks or even wingbacks at all

I would play walker as well but with Rodri and fern as opposed to Garcia. I don’t expect pep to play walker there in fact it’s very unlikely. I would say it’s hard to call if he will even play 3 at the back. I think cancelo will make way for walker as right back or rwb.

We need pace in the centre back position , only Walker can keep up with their forwards , Bernardo and Mahrez look after the right flank and Zinchenko and Sterling on the left , good point regarding Cancelo though he could play right wing back in place of Bernardo's more advanced role.

He started 3 consecutive games against Dynamo, Arsenal and Oxford recently to be fair, so there is a chance he's in the starting line up. Certainly made a case for it yesterday.

Definitely we will go full strength apart from ederson. He wouldn’t have played a weakened team yesterday. You can also read who will play by the subs and restings. Silva won’t start and Gundaghan and Bernardo will do. Obviously KDB and Fernandinho after rests. Sterling,Mendy, Rodri and Jesus I assume too.

the big question is whether we go 3 at the back again.
