Fair enough. If that's what you want to see. It's a talented team. We've got talented players. But I think your lineup restricts 2 of our 3 most explosive attacking players. Foden and Kevin.

Here's my critique of your team. I love your backline. Speed with Walker, tackling and experience with Dihno, and Positiioning with Garcia. It lacks height, but that's fine coz United doesn't have much either.

Your mid 4. I agree with your Cancelo adjustment. But a Kev and Foden central duo limits their effectiveness. In essence Kevin will be playing DM. A waste of his talent. Zinchencko over Mendy at Wingback I'm not the biggest fan of either. Zee is great at cohesion, but he is not a flyer. In a 343 the wide backs should be flyers ( Cancelo, Mendy seem infinitely a better duo.)

Your front 3 is good. In terms of present talent, I think thats the best front 3, albeit id take Foden on form over either.

On form I think this will be more of what I'd want

......Walker....Dihno...... Garcia..C
Cancelo..Rodri.....Bernado.... Mendy
....Foden.......Jesus.....Debryune

I think the above is our most in form 10.

Come on, Jesus puts lots more effort into games than Sergio does now, even though he can never match Sergio's goalscoring feats. This is Sergio's last season at the top level, and he's been amazing nobody can question that. The best!

Do you reckon with those 10 outfield players we could even set up with a sort of 352 with KDB playing quite high, particularly to make use of his aggressive pressing? We often see KDB as the most advanced player due to his aggression.

He does have a great record against United. Whether he is fully fit is another matter so maybe save him for the 2nd leg.

Well one is 22 and the other 31,older players don't need to run about like kids,they use their experience,he didn't need to tear about for us to beat port vale
