What will probably happen:
Smalling will be wresting with our players at every corner, nothing of course will be given. Pep should state in the media about Utd holding at corners. They will kick us off the park yet we will end up with more yellows. We will have 70% possession and yet despite them kicking us all over the pitch, we will concede most of the free kicks.
They will dive at every chance of pumping the free kicks into our area and Oliver will give them everything as a very very weak ref who sees fuck all (bar of course seeing the non existent elbow to get Walker sent off as many stated he as 4th assistant was the one who flagged it to the ref). He wont hesitate to produce a soft red for anything for us.
Result wise no idea. They have the most ridiculous luck in games. Just depends if we can replicate our early season form and actually hit the net, or revert to last year as we currently are and being wasteful in front of goal.

We have struggled recently against similar smaller clubs with bigger players than us. They just sit behind the ball and wait for a counter attack or set pieces ala Huddersfield Southampton. I don’t blame teams like this as It’s their only chance of frustrating us.

I think we are leading the attacking football philosophy in this league with Liverpool then Spurs Arsenal trying the same. Our opponents on Sunday are part of the rest but with more arrogance, increasingly borne out of frustration of being part of the rest who can only admire the football played by the aforementioned. These clubs are desperate for managers who can coach their players to play attacking total football.
Mr prediction is by December we’ll be at the very least 5 points clear of the rest.
Enjoy the game!

Never happy with a draw against this lot , we have a duty to put them in their place at every opportunity , your assumption that 8 points would be good is commendable but eleven points clear on Sunday evening and the fact they have to come to our place means their title race is run , and its not even xmas.
Can't argue with that, 11 points clear and they'll need a minor miracle to get back in it

We need to keep the winning momentum going not just to put Manure and the sycophantic media in their place but to keep Chelsea in particular at a distance as well as Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool.

So it's another "must win" game for me, a draw will feel like another loss and a defeat will feel like losing a cup semi-final. I'm expecting a straight red for one of our key players (probably Ederson) to ensure an impact on the Spurs game too. I'm also expecting a Pep surprise !!

We have lost our scoring mojo in recent games, Sunday would be the perfect day to get it back.

C'mon City !!!

I usually don't guess at lineups and formations but this game needs the right setup (I'll put all of the guys he absolutely has to start in BOLD)

-----------------EDERSON----------------
Walker---Vinny-----Otamendi---Delph
--------Fernandinho-Gundogan-------
Sterling-----DeBruyne-----D Silva----
----------------Agueroooooooooooooo

Subs:
Bernardo, Danilo, Mangala, Bravo, Sane, Jesus, Diaz
If scoreless or up one at 60 minutes bring on Sane for Silva and if losing by 1 bring him on for Gundogan
Also Jesus on for Delph if City is chasing it.
Last time wasting sub to ice it is Danilo for Sterling or Kun

Replace Gundogan with Sane and I'm with you..!

Picks itself, surely?
