She has failed.

Yet she's not only still got a job, but she has been made a director. Much like Marwood, someone else who half this forum thinks is incompetent. Yet Mancini's been given his marching orders. Surely that's proof enough that maybe, just maybe, Mancini isn't as good as you think he is and Kloss isn't as bad as you think she is.

Or else the people making those decisions aren't as good as you think they are.

Between Khaldoun, Txiki, Ferran, Sheikh Mansour and Simon Pearce there's enough experience for me to be comfortable that they do know what they're doing.

Stu Brennans Twitter account worth a look https://twitter.com/StuBrennanMEN

Adamant he's going and

I said words to this effect not more than a couple of months ago and was roundly lambasted. I hope everything does come out so at least those who abused me will have cause to reflect upon the things they said.

Brennan and Custis were both writing Mancini was going nowhere just recently.

Mancini has made enemies across every facet of the club over the last 12 months.

And his ridicule of Vicky Kloss is a disgrace, especially in front of her at Wembley to a small press contingent, highly embarrassing.

Firstly, she is a blue.

Secondly, she is decent at her job.

She gets told what to say and when to say it, nothing more.

I might not agree with some of City's policy towards the media, but Mancini has pissed on a lot of chips.

Yep... overstepped the mark there. Unnecessary and embarrassing... But he was probably correct in what he said! Of that I am certain

Mark Hughes basically got lambasted for pillar to post for signing Crocky, am I right or wrong?

We are replacing the manager who won us 2 major trophies in 3 seasons with a lad who couldn't win a trophy with Real Madrid and who's major piece of business was to sign Crocky on loan from us..

Let me put it simply, we do not need a manager who is scraping around the Crocky of this world. We want someone who can attract the best players in the world.

Do you have any idea of the financial situation at Malaga? They are being expelled from Europe cos they can't pay their bills. They signed RSC on loan cos they have no money and Pellegrini has got him scoring. At least give him credit for that, if nothing else. I am afraid you have lost the Pellegrini/RSC argument.

Why are you afraid? I've lost plenty of arguments. I'll be alright.

Right straight question for you?

Who is the better manager, Roberto Mancini or Manuel Pellegrini?

Who knows? They have different qualities. But if it were Mancini, the last thing I would do is use the Pellegrini/RSC case to support my argument.

From Stu Brennan interview on Talksport

There won’t be many tears shed among the players. There are a lot of things still come out and he’s upset a lot of people in the dressing room.
“It’s all about the timing now… a) when they announce Mancini’s gone and b) when they announce Pellegrini is incoming.
“I understand the official announcement will come at the end of the season, but that seems almost cruel to drag it on, and it wouldn’t surprise me if it happened a little quicker than that.”

Go on then, back up this.....fact?
Ask Pantillimon.

Kompany, Joe Hart, Nasri, Tevez, Kloss, marwood. Some maybe rumours and false, but Mancini is falling out with everyone and it's obvious the dressing room is not a happy group at the moment.

I've got to be honest, i've always thought that Mancini should have been given another season, but the way he dropped Pantilimon has left a bitter taste.
I don't think Pantilimons timing of his interview saying he wanted out was the best, but think dropping him was harsh, if he was good enough v Chelsea he's good enough v Wigan.

Not only will he have upset Pantilimon he'll have pissed 1 or 2 others off who all probably felt upset for Costel.

I think now it's time to go and my only worry is that Pelligrini won't be an upgrade or even equal...

Whoever it is will get my support anyway and i hope the reest of the match going blues who are pissed off with Mancini going back the new guy also.

I hope I'm wrong about Pellers but I keep seeing the French guy that Portsmouth had a few seasons back.

City fans will be forever grateful to Mancini but I can't see there not being support for whichever guy takes over!

Fecking hell - some of you need to lie down.

Apparently it's open season on City, from our own fans.

Mancini can do no wrong.

However, Begiristain, Soriano, Khaldoon, Sheikh Mansour, Vicky Kloss, and others are all incompetent.

Mancini has done a truly superb job of deflection.

What is astonishing is the number of posters asking why the pressers were not strictly controlled as by GPC.

Strangce but for months if not years prob the majority of posters have moaned about him controlling the pressers.

Cake n eat it time

Was funny when people thought that Marwood lost his battle vs Mancini, lol

He got quite a good job with lot less fuss and responsibility and was moved from his previous one only for Txiki to be incorporated. It had heck all with Mancini.

Doesn't always work that way in business. I've seen it before. Two incompetent people will band together to oust a competent person they see as a threat to them (or who shows them up). It's not about what's good for the club, it's about what's good for them. Some nasty politicing going on.

I don't know if you have an inside line into how Txiki and Ferran operate but anything they have done has been under the radar. I can't see any impact externally since they arrived, except for maybe a destabalising of the power balance.

From the outside it looks like Marwood and Vicky have been responsible for numerous debacles relating to the manager of the football club, he is the most important man at the club. Bobby has been undermined by those working against him which is a fucking disgrace if you ask me.

Take a look at every national and many international press outlets over the last 2 years and it's much worse.

That's her responsibility. She has failed.

You cannot stop someone having an opinion or stop them writing it. They do however warn people of legal proceedings if they write lies about the club that's why most stuff written is either true or just an "opinion"
We are not strong enough to have the slur way of just banning that would make it worse. She is briefed on what she is to do and if she wasn't doing it she would be out of a job as she isn't she is obviously fulfilling the role asked of her

I would love to see that job description.

MBO #1 Make us the laughing stock of the league by giving the press carte blanch.
carte blanch, dear god go for a lie down

Had the pleasure of speaking to Vicky and Garry Cooke during the tour of South Africa and the question of our handling of the press was raised with concern then.

They both said that the club was following a carefully laid out plan when it came to the press and saw no reason to start playing games with them, getting into petty squabbles every 5 mins over every article written.

The way some are going for her throat here, you would of thought she played 3 at the back and stuck Lescott up front!

Oooooo conspiracy or maybe just another one making up stuff to try and find a reason

caught a bit of an insight into the character of mancini the other day.

watched a re-run of the qpr game from last season and when qpr score their 2nd goal, mancini runs to the touchline, pointing out individual players screaming fuck you, fuck you in italian.

granted, we dont see who he is pointing to so it could be qpr players, but more likely lescott and others

i like his fire and his temperament, but its not to everyones liking and it must be hard to work for him sometimes

Yeah I saw that. Had no idea what he was saying although looked like 'fuck you' in English but it was definitely not sweet words of endearment. Mancini is simply the boss you hate who also happens to be good at what he does. No one will be offering Roberto any sympathy right now and lots looking forward to giving him a kicking but thats Roberto's world and he ain't going to change...

Perhaps we ought to give thanks that we've had RM for the past three seasons and not PdC! Wonder what wrecks the Mackem players and fans'll be like after three seasons of Paulo!
