Re: Mancini Breaking News Part 5

Has something new happened that has made the talk here be about Mourinho or is it just a fantasy type thing that's started?

Remember, Mourinho has a £17m release clause that even Chelsea don't want to pay. That sort of money can buy a quality signing. Pellegrini's release clause is close to £3m.

About the fee we paid for Garcia then! Get Mourinho....

If that was to happen it would be the curve ball of all curve balls, and i don't mean you giving your wife one! ;-)

you completely dissed me when I suggested this in the copper jug mate :-)

drove past the Copper Jug.....what was the riot van for outside.....recognised a couple of old faces stood outside.

Probably like you, they recognised old faces. All the old faces were inside

Seems our PR team are too busy sending emails out to fans asking for feed back on their cup final experience, I hope I get one of these beauties.

I'm not sure marks out of ten for drinking shots, snorting coke and shagging brasses will be high on the agenda to be honest? ;-)

Brilliant!

I better leave the brass out of it, if they think we can afford brass after forking out a fortune at Wembley, they might wack another ton on our season tickets.

I bet you were the only kid at school enjoyed it when told to do 100 lines..;)

I would be very interested to see the support for Benitez after all the comments of "We will support the club and the manager whoever it is"..

Billy,Ob1,Exeter-A serious question for you there-Would you be happy if Rafa is installed?

he'd be backed at city.

we're not chelsea.

I'd back him 100% aswell fella. Funnily enough on the way down to Wembley a few of us were actually saying that we'd prefer Rafa over the peregrine..

Well the clear out seems to be:

- Mancini
- Platt
- Any backroom staffer with an Italian name including Lombardo
- Sadler (U18s coach)
- Power (U15s coach)
- Cassell
- Various other youth coaches?

Does it go beyond that?

Eddie Ekekafe too apparently.

I'm sure I read that he left last year - by his own choice, not by the club's.

I'm not sure it's that cut and dried. I suspect that although there's an informal agreement in place between City and MP, there's no signed contract ergo if Barcelona really do want him, and he really does want to go there, we might have a problem.

If that does happen, whoever is behind MP on our shortlist (my guess De Boer) - will have already agreed unconditionally to take the job if it was offered.

I hope you are right that de Boer is next in line but I fear it could be Rafa.

Rafa has done a job at Chelsea under incredibly difficult circumstances.

Dont see why there is so much disrespect for the guy tbh.

He's an absolute gobshite. Wigan will be about the only PL team he hasn't badmouthed. And the fact the The Dippers hold him in such high regard should get the alarm bells clanging. Might be interesting though, now Moygerson is at The Swamp. Derby day could be 5th November for each fixture!
