Waiting for Axelrod to return...
Time to stand our ground and fight.

City fans have a part to play, and for too long, because we feel we deserve it, due to decades of debacles, believe we now only need sit back and await it.

Wrong, the hard work starts now. You earn the right. Sheikh Mansour has given us the tools, now, along with the players, we must finish the job.

That starts by getting behind the manager and repelling all invaders.

Put the kettle on and relax.....

Well said.

The reaction to last night has only strengthened my resolve.

Come on City!

Dissapointed to see 3 defeats, sure I am. Had Boyata not been sent off after 5 in the Gunners game we could be looking at somthing completly different here.

I'm behind Mancini 100% and I'm not worried. I will however kick right off if they sack him as we'll go back to square one!

I'm lookin' forward to West Brom, should be a good tie as it stands. Come on City!

I agree give them 100 per cent support on the pitch throughout the 90 minutes on Sunday and always home or away.

This forum means nothing in the scheme of things when it comes to match day.

However the players must perform to the required level if Mancini is to keep his job.

Believe me rightly or wrongly the board will act if we don't start getting the results and the level of performance we require.

Chelsea and Liverpool aside we have been well below what is required at this club now this season.

Two out of ten is not good enough and we need to see sustained evidence from the players that things are looking better over the next few games otherwise Mancini will not survive whether we believe he should get more time or not.

I'm in.

We could easily won last night. We made plenty of chances but couldn't finish them. I have no problems with the team selection given the week ahead and have no problem with the style we play. The only problem I have at the moment is so many so called fans failing to support the team. After all we are supposed to be supporters. What many have become is expecters. The sit quietly and EXPECT the team to win every game. It's completely unrealistic to think we could go from where we were, and let's be honest we've been a mess since the 80's, to world domination in 2 seasons. What we should be aiming for is a good league position inside the top 4 and not made chumps of in the EU and FA cups. We're doing that, and finding out where some of the so called true blue players ambitions really lay. What's really sad is we have a very good manager who is constantly under attack in the press due to the media expectations based on nothing but jealousy of our new found wealth. The owners have always emphasised how their project isn't just about the club but the community that surrounds it and yet so many members of that community just sit back and expect to be spoon fed success. In this world you have to go out and earn success. It takes effort. The more effort you give the more rewards you gain. A lot of "fans" have forgotten this and only see the cash. It's like watching the world's most undeserving lottery winner sometimes and makes me a little sad.
