well the pressure will really be on him...we are the team in the public eye especially with our transfer business in the last couple of summers....

expectations are very high and if the team have a bad start to the season then the pressure will only build and build...especially from the media...it will be

interesting to see our position by xmas....if its not better than MH's was at that point you can bet your life the media will be drawing comparrisons between the two and telling everyone that RM deserves to be sacked/will be sacked

Understandable tbh, HUGE pressure on Bobby to get this right. I doubt the owners are going to be 'happy' with just top 4 this year, they are going to be looking for a return on the investment in trophy form sooner rather than later.

Yep, rightly or wrongly the pressure will be on more than ever. I wonder what the odds are on the first 'Mancini Out' thread :-p

It will be as soon as we drop points where perhaps we shouldn't. Those sort of results happen all the time in football yet people will see it as vindication to call for his head.

I can understand why he would be favourite bearing mind the expectation, the signings, and our past history.

But I don't think they have factored in our owners and chairman's new outlook. I'm sure they'll give RM every chance to succeed. And even now, I can't see who else we would get in if he did go. Mourhino has gone to Madrid, Hodgsons's gone to Liverpool, and they would have been the only two in the frame for me.
